Let me welcome you to my company homepages. My name is Darrin Woods (my hair is much shorter now although I am commonly asked when I'm going to grow it back).

Intosh was formed as a custom software development company specializing in developing for the Macintosh in 1987. Most of Intosh's early clients were oil companies needing specialized software created for Macs in the field.

Intosh Development's role in my life has changed. Instead of a working entity, it is now a holding company for several other companies that I am currently trying to get started, as I have been unemployed since May 2002.

By trade I have been a network engineer having built networks from the ground up for businesses and even an ISP in the Dallas area during the mid 90's. I have since worked for MCI as a contractor and most recently for Network Computing Magazine.

But I'm not all about networks, I'm also a part-time instructor at Collin County Community College teaching traditional and 3d animation. During the last two summers I have been teaching for the Digital Media Academy at both Stanford University and the University of Texas at Austin (hook 'em horns).

For fun I'm an avid collector of production animation cels. I haven't added to my collection in a long time except for a Carrotblanca cel that I found in Australia during a trip there (summer 2001). All of the others were collected in the mid-nineties and I purchased most of them from the Warner Bros Studio stores. I had good luck finding what I wanted as the sales people learned what I was looking for and often times went the extra mile to find things for me. I wouldn't have most of my collection if it wasn't for the manager of the studio in Austin. Thanks Brenda! Enjoy.

I have also taken up my photography hobby within the last year and have started to post my images. I will be adding the additional pages as the images get scanned and sized (it takes a day just to get about 30 images ready and the pages built.

Please take the time to look at my work, although my photography will never win any awards, I enjoy it.

If you can, please take the time to donate to this site. It helps to keep the site alive, me fed, and help in building my production companies. I would greatly appreciate it.
